Story: Three curious kids accidentally trip an egg-shaped time machine into operation and find themselves back 65 million years in the middle of a nest of dinosaur eggs. The first thing they see is a giant T-Rex staring down at them in happy wonder. They're not food, they're family! An animated film that doesn't insult kids' intelligence, isn't aboutshifting as much merchandise as possible and won't have parents hittingthe booze in the middle - that's Dino Mom.

Technically, as in terms of animation, Dino Mom hits above its weight.It's no Pixar of Dreamworks, or Disney, but nor is it churned outshovelware either. There is ability and care on show here, whichextends to the characters, both humans and dinosaurs, too. The moral ofthe story, moms are a good thing, is simple and nicely done. The filmmight not stand up to repeat viewings but for a one-off treat,something the kids can be left to watch while parents do something else(Get drunk, maybe?), it's perfect.

Firstly let me clarify that I saw the movie in Mysore, so if you findme rambling off into the wilderness, let me be.

The movie is fantastic to say the least. But then after the PixArtseries I expected nothing less from Disney. The story is crisp andalways in motion, unlike other movies where you yell 'get on with it'.I found the story easy to follow, being a Dino fan, but I don't supposepeople could due to the vast amount of references scattered throughoutthe story.

The movie is peppered with trademarked sweeping landscape shots thatlook fantastic in TLBT, fight scenes that were a little fast to follow,and each character with appropriate screen time.

What really blew me away was the look and the feel of the movie. SriDevi Animation House has done what others fail to do, that use the 3Dto show depth rather than throw things at people. It was amazing towatch vast mountains lying in front of you as if you were watching itin 2D. You, Dino Mom, had me 'fully immersed'! I'm already waiting forthe next install.
